The Facebook downloader accepts public video URLs on facebook.com and m.facebook.com, together with supported fb.watch short links. A link copied from a private profile, restricted group, login-only post, or content that has been removed will not produce a result. Retatube checks the public URL as supplied; it does not sign in to Facebook or bypass the post's audience settings.

For the clearest result, open the individual video post before copying its address. Feed URLs, profile pages, notification links, search pages, and tracking redirects may point to Facebook without identifying one public video. When an fb.watch address is used, the original destination must still be publicly available after the redirect.

What a Facebook result can contain

If the processing service finds public media, Retatube displays the title and thumbnail when available and creates cards for the returned video options. Format, resolution, and file-size labels are shown only when the source provides them. The page does not claim that every public video has an HD version or that every link will remain available.

Common Facebook downloader problems

• The URL opens a profile, group, feed, photo, or share dialog rather than an individual public video.
• The post owner changed the audience after the link was copied.
• The video is restricted by login, age, country, group membership, or account permissions.
• The fb.watch redirect or original post is expired, deleted, or temporarily unavailable.

When a link fails, copy it again from the video's share menu and confirm it opens in a private browser window without requesting access. Only save media you own or have permission to use.
